Deborah is Executive Director, Client Services within the IT department of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, and a certified children’s yoga instructor. While she may be one of the newer members of the Angels’ Arms Board of Directors, Deborah is no stranger to the organization, having supported it for many years. She also serves as a Board member for Green Trails Elementary. Deborah lives in Chesterfield with her husband, Christopher, and two beautiful daughters, Alexis and Emelia.
Mark, a Partner on the Compardo, Wienstroer, Conrad & Janes team at Moneta is a CPA and Certified Financial Planner®. He joined Moneta in 2012 after spending ten years in the St. Louis office of Rubin Brown. Mark also serves on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Baptist Foundation and is the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of The Lane Thomas Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his family – his wife, Cristal, and their daughters, Claire and Avery.
Tom is a Healthcare Account Manager for Cisco. Tom and his wife,
Dana, are founding members of the Angels’ Arms Board (1999). He has served as event Chairman for the annual Stepping Out for the Angels Gala since that time. Tom has enjoyed working with Angels’ Arms for two decades in shaping the Angels’ Arms strategy, and fulfilling the vision of developing loving and nurturing homes for foster children. From the dream of starting one home to supporting thirteen homes in the metropolitan area, Tom is proud to be a part of this vital organization which has touched the lives of more than 500 children in the St. Louis area. Tom is also an active member of the Eric Westacott Foundation, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, and Forest Hills Country Club. Tom and his wife, Dana, reside in Chesterfield with their three children: Libby, Thomas
Stephanie is an attorney in the St. Louis County Counselor’s Office. She was a member of the Junior Board from its founding through 2015, serving as Junior Board Secretary from 2009 through 2015. Stephanie also volunteers as the Personnel Advisor for the Tau Mu Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity at Washington University.
Reggie serves as the Mayor of Dellwood, Missouri located in North St. Louis County. He also serves as Club Director for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis since 1996. He is an active member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc where he holds the position of Community Service Coordinator. He is married to Rukiya and they have four children, Rajae, Melvin, Shambria, and Koby.
Brandon Loeschner – Board Vice President
Brandon is a Partner, National Practice Leader – Gaming Services at RubinBrown LLC. He has expertise in risk assessments, internal control, compliance consulting and operational auditing. Brandon received the Outstanding Public Service Award from the Missouri Society of CPA’s and is in the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2015. Brandon became involved with Angels’ Arms in 2003 when he joined the Circle of Angels and was an inaugural member of the Junior Board, where he served as Treasurer. In 2009 he joined the Board of Directors as the Treasurer.
Chris Madison – Board Treasurer
Chris is a partner at Anders CPAs+Advisors and has more than 30 years’ experience in public accounting. He is currently the Angels’ Arms Board Treasurer. Chris and his wife Michele are passionate supporters of Angels’ Arms and also volunteer their time with the Juvenile Diabetes Association and with Holy Infant Catholic School. Chris and Michele live in Wildwood. They have four children and three dogs, two of which were Angels Arms auction puppies!
Donna is the VP of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate Mortgage in Kirkwood. She taught a fitness boot camp class in the Arnold area for 7 yrs and started the Arnold Running club where she trained individuals for full and half marathons for 5 years. She has been involved with Angels’ Arms since 2004 as well as served in a Board of Directors position for other non-profits including the Fenton Charitable Contributions Committee and the South County Chamber of Commerce. She also has volunteered with the Girls Scout Council, the American Heart Association, Friends of Kids with Cancer and Junior Achievement. The lack of resources for the foster system, Donna’s love for children, as well as a very heartfelt introduction to Angels’ Arms by Founder Bess Wilfong, brought her to this much needed and worthwhile organization. Donna is a passionate and involved person who believes that each one of us can achieve more than we ever thought possible by realizing our own potential, going after our goals and supporting others to help them realize and achieve their goals.
Robert (Bob) Miromonti is the Vice President, Operations at Centene Corporation. Prior to serving on the Angel’s Arms board, Bob served on the alumni board for Saint Louis University’s College of Public Health and Social Justice. Bob and his wife Melissa live in Wildwood and have three children. Bob enjoys coaching his children’s soccer and basketball teams and supports the local arts community.
Mary Meyer – Board Secretary
Mary served as Director of Community Relations in the Lindbergh School District for 32 years before retiring in 2009. She has been on the Angels’ Arms Board since 2005. She is currently the Board Secretary. Mary is a member of the Lindbergh Schools Foundation Board of Directors and the Crestwood-Sunset Hills Kiwanis. In 2004, Mary and her husband, Mike, received the Angels’ Arms Volunteer of the Year Award. Growing up in St. Louis and being surrounded by a close-knit family has been important to the Meyers. Getting involved with Angels’ Arms gives the entire Meyer clan an opportunity to share the gift of “family” with foster children who deserve a chance to be part of a loving, supportive family.
Steve is currently Vice President and General Manager for Argosy Alton Casino. Steve has over 20 years in the Casino/Hospitality business, and he relocated here to the St. Louis area with his family in 2010 from Las Vegas. Their family has grown to love St Louis and the people that make it so great. Steve and his wife Jill live in Wildwood with their three children, Kylie (23), Trevor (18), and Katelyn (16). They are involved in numerous community outreach programs and look forward to serving the very worthy program that Angels’ Arms provides.
Lisa has spent more than 30 years in leadership positions in the Financial Services Industry. She worked at some top companies, HighTower, Scottrade/T.D. Ameritrade, Morgan Stanley, Renaissance Financial, and Bridge Trading to name a few. She has recently entered the Entrepreneur world by starting LAPepperDesigns. She specializes in all things customized, embroidery, vinyl, handcrafted cards, shirts, signs, cups, blankets, you name it she can do it. Lisa has been an active Board Member and Volunteer at Angels’ Arms since 2002 and serves on the Fall Event Committee each year. She is very passionate about supporting Angels’ Arms and is dedicated to raising awareness about the organization. If you’ve come in contact with Lisa you have heard the Angels’ Arms Story!
Aaron is a Partner & Vice Chair – Transportation and Dealership Services Group at RubinBrown, LLP. He assists clients at various levels with accounting services, tax preparation, and consulting guidance. Aaron became involved with Angels’ Arms in 2012 when he joined the Junior Board, where he served as Treasurer and Sip and Savor Event Chair for 2014 – 2017. He and his wife, Susie, enjoy sharing the mission with others and engaging their children, Nate, Luke, and Brooke, in Angels’ Arms activities and events.
Kirk is a practicing dentist with two offices, Brentwood Family Dental Center in St. Louis and Smile Team Dental in Belleville, IL. Kirk is also a serial entrepreneur. He is CEO of Quigless Innovations, his company formed in 2010 to manage his projects and inventions as well as offer consulting services. Kirk created and managed an outreach program to provide dental services to children in underserved communities in the state of Missouri and Illinois that he operated for over 10 years. Kirk holds leadership roles and sits on the following boards, President – Mound City Dental Society, Delegate – National Dental Association, Board member – Ujamaa Community Development Association, and the Gateway to Oral Health Outreach Program. Kirk is new to the board of Angel’s Arms. Kirk embraces the mission of Angel’s Arms and is looking forward to contributing to the vision.
Tom has worked at his family owned business, Electric Power Systems, for Twenty Five Years. He currently is serving as Vice President of Finance for Corporate Operations. Tom joined the Angels Arms board in 2012. He and his wife Sarah have supported Angels Arms for years and want to continue to assist Angels Arms in accomplishing their mission “by providing foster children with a loving home and allowing them to thrive in a happy, functional family setting.” Tom has previously served on a customer advisory board for Enterprise Leasing and currently lives in Chesterfield with his wife and three kids.
Jim is a Senior Vice President in the Commercial Services Division of The Daniel & Henry Company, an insurance and risk management firm. Jim has been involved with Angels’ Arms since 2004. He was a founding member and the first President of the Junior Board, until joining the Board of Directors in 2009. Jim also has served on the Long Term Planning Committee and led several other endeavors for Angels’ Arms. He is passionate about spreading the word about the Angels’ Arms mission and has recruited many colleagues, business associations, friends, and family members into the cause. Jim and his wife, Jessica, live in St. Louis City with their three children, Rosie, Harry, and Charlie. Jim is an avid backpacker, self-professed beer snob, foodie, and crazed fan of all Mizzou and St. Louis sports teams.
John is a Platinum Advisor with Renaissance Financial and has built his practice around Qualified Retirement Plans (401k and Profit-Sharing) and money management. He’s been with Renaissance for over 23 years and is a shareholder of Renaissance Financial, member of the Investment Committee, and past Chair of the Investment Committee. He joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He has also served on the Associate Board for The Business Bank of St. Louis, and was a member of the Emerging Leaders Council of the St. Louis Science Center. Dr. John Stein
Dr. John Stein provides comprehensive family health care as a family physician. He has been at his West County Family Care office in Chesterfield for almost 15 years. John strives to care for each patient as a unique individual and has a focus in Preventative Cardiology and Sports Medicine. He is Board Certified and on staff at Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital (formerly St. John’s Mercy). John and his wife, Colleen, have been friends of Angels’ Arms Director Bess Wilfong and her family for almost two decades…long before Angels’ Arms existed! John and Colleen were both founding Board Members of Angels’ Arms. While a member of numerous volunteer organizations, Angels’ Arms is where John’s passion burns brightest. John and Colleen are the proud parents of four children: Kevin, Brendan, Mary and Patrick.
Romondous is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of CKE Restaurants, Inc., franchisor and operator of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. Restaurants. He joined CKE Restaurants in 2002 and is responsible for the legal and franchise administration matters for both brands. Prior to joining CKE Restaurants, he was an associate attorney for The Stolar Partnership where he specialized in real estate transactions. Romondous was a founding member of the Angels’ Arms Board in 1999 and has served in the capacity of Vice Chairman or Chairman of the Board of Directors. Under his leadership, and with the efforts of an amazing board and staff, Angels’ Arms has grown from a grass-roots organization to a well-known and respected charity in the St. Louis community. His greatest accomplishment was the implementation of the organization’s Long Term Plan, focusing on the direction, financing and governance of the organization. In 2010, he received the Volunteer of the Year Award for his dedication and support of Angels’ Arms. Romondous also is Chairman of the Missouri History Museum Subdistrict and an active member of New Horizons Community Church in East St. Louis, Illinois. Romondous and his wife, Rayna, along with their daughter Riley live in Lafayette Square.
Amy Sullivan is the Chief Operating Officer of Korein Tillery, a complex-litigation firm located in St. Louis. Amy has over 20 years of experience in business management, including work with non-profits. As a former Guardian ad Litem, Amy has learned a great deal about the foster care system and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children in need. Amy also volunteers her time with a number of other organizations, including the United Way of Greater St. Louis, all with the intent of giving every child a chance to live a happy, healthy and productive life.
Chris is the Vice President and General Counsel at Varsity Tutors LLC. He was previously an attorney with Polsinelli PC and a shareholder in the firm’s labor and employment practice group. He has served as Director, Executive Committee Member, Secretary, and Privileges Committee Chairman of Forest Hills Country Club since 2013, has been a member of the Missouri State Employment Council (employer representative) since 2010, and has been a director of the Tau Tau Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity Association (Washington University) since 2006. Chris is also a guest instructor at Washington University’s University College Nonprofit Management course for Legal Issues Impacting Nonprofit Organizations where he lectures on employment issues for non-profits and social entrepreneurship. Chris and his wife Erin live in Chesterfield and have three children, Alex, Max, and Cate.
Eric Verhulst – Board President
Eric is the Private Wealth Advisor-Managing Director
Rockefeller Capital Management. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst or CIMA® professional. He and his wife Carla have supported Angels’ Arms events for years, and they appreciate the difference the organization makes in the lives of the Angels’ Arms foster children. Eric joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012. He also serves on the Board of Forest Hills Country Club. Eric and Carla live in Chesterfield and are the proud parents of Ej, Bella and Cole.
Jen is the CEO of The Wallner Home Selling Team, a top-producing real estate team with Berkshire Hathaway. She has been working with her husband, Rodney for over 11 years assisting families with all of their real estate needs. Together they have an amazing little girl who shares their passion for assisting others. Knowing personally what it is like to be a foster child, Jen understands the importance of having a loving home as well as a consistent support system. She is incredibly dedicated to supporting the foster children as well as spreading awareness for the Angels’ Arms organization.
Since 2007, Colleen has served on the St. Louis County Council as 3rd District Councilman. Colleen joined the Angels’ Arms Board in 2012, and she wants to contribute more to the Angels’ Arms mission. She is an active volunteer and also works on the County Council’s Public Improvements Committee, Committee on Justice, Health and Welfare, and Committee of the Whole. Colleen is also a member of Mercy Foundation’s Women and Children Advisory Board and the Community Advisory Board at Missouri Baptist Hospital.
